Brief Introduction
Hello, my name is Bourne Yang and I am a grade 10 student attending Lord Byng Secondary School. Since my childhood, I have always believed in the power of art to transform people’s thinking and perspectives for the better. Recently, I have decided to cooperate with a few peers to establish the Aboriginal Palette foundation, an organization with the mission of highlighting the unique qualities of Canadian Indigenous art both historically and in contemporary times. I envision that Aboriginal Palette will become a platform for Indigenous artists to share their stories, memories, and legacies with the world. True to its name, Aboriginal’s Palette will include every color and every shade that Indigenous people have and will continue to paint on the canvas of society.
